Top 3 Bridal Beauty No-Nos

by Avid Thinker November 30, 2012

If you want to put your best face forward for your wedding day, then you better heed these 3 suggestions.

Say no to tan

When you get a tan days before the wedding, you risk damaging your skin and looking weird on your wedding photos. More risk has been noted from spray tans so stay clear of them as much as you can. Looking unnatural in your pictures is a bummer more so when it can’t be fixed!

Say no to water skimping

Make your skin glowing and clear by doubling or quadrupling your intake of water for 3 or more weeks leading up to the date of the wedding. Be careful of your alcohol intake during rehearsal dinner and other prewedding parties because it can easily dry up your pores. Switch from wine to water often to maintain your healthy glow.

Say no to neglecting the beauty emergency kit

This kit can be truly a lifesaver when a small bobby pin or a small pack of tissue is highly needed. For an event as important as your wedding ceremony, it should not be ruined by very small details. Prepare your emergency kit 1 week before the wedding date and include band-aids, deodorant, safety pins in difference sizes, nail polish, mints, razor, nail clipper, facial wipes, bleach pen, tampons and anything else you think will be needed to ensure you stay beautiful during that very special day.
