Pastels are the usual fit for summer or spring weddings but when you are having your most special day in the thick of winter then richer, deeper shades will bring the most amazing colour theme to your celebration.
Rich Red – a real testament will be imbued with this traditional symbol of love and romance as you carry a bouquet of rich, red roses. You can also splash red here and there such as dressing your reception venue in white chair covers with red satin sashes before adding big red berries. Another fantastic option is to include red touches throughout the day with a red Jimmy Choo pair of red shoes for starters.
Winter Green – opt for those deeper, darker shades of green so that you will create a warm wedding in the middle of winter. Incorporate fir, log fires and forest touches throughout your wedding decorations. And since the colour represents environmental causes, why not go all the way to using recycled wedding invitations and favours with the same colour palette.
Luxurious Gold – as a precious metal regarded highly by royals through time, gold properly shows that luxurious feel for a winter wedding. Enhance your decors, venue, food and almost all essentials of the wedding with gold touches. Although it can be a bit of a challenge to carry through, the results are stunningly glamorous when you are able to pull it off.
