Guides to Having a Celebrity Themed Wedding

by Avid Thinker April 25, 2013

Celebrity weddings are like fireworks on quiet nights. We all will eventually know and feast on the news. This is why many make it a point to organize the best glamorized and stylized wedding ceremony imaginable. You might find a superstar scale wedding unlikely, especially if you’re on low budget but perhaps, these tips will help you replicate the Hollywood-inspired ambiance you’ve long dreamed of.

  1. Invitations

Start with preparing elegant invitations. Consider crisp white-colored invitations adorned with silver or gold linings and fancy lettering.

  1. Dress Code

Make sure to instruct your guests to wear formal tie attire. Men should come in tuxedos and women in fancy evening gowns, just like celebrities walking down red carpets. Don’t let your guests outshine you though. Pick out the best designer piece you can find for yourself and your partner.

  1. Decorations

Decorate the reception and ceremony hall with elegant décor, fitting the lavish celebrity theme. Accents of crystals, silver and gold will be perfect. Other elements to consider are center pieces. You might want to have ice sculptures prepared as well as floral arrangements of rare flowers.

  1. Menu

Have high-class drinks and entrees prepared.  Your options can include seafood dishes, filet mignon, lobster with imported wine and decadent desserts like cheesecake, rich chocolates and red velvet cakes. Use shiny dishes, glasses and crystal plates when serving these.

  1. Giveaways

Prepare luxurious bags for your guests to take home. Have them designed similarly to what celebrities receive when they attend award ceremonies.

You don’t really need to spend as much planning out for a lavish-themed wedding. Find affordable options to consider and enjoy planning your wedding through.
