Most of us are fascinated with royalty. How much more when there’s a royal wedding that’s going to happen? We often wait with excitement what the wedding dress of a princess will be like and the same with a prince. Since it is an important event for a state, it typically attracts significant attention from the press. Today, we are going to feature two of the most recent royal wedding that happened this decade.
First up is the wedding of Princess Madeleine of Sweden who married Christopher O’Neill, a British Financier on June 8, 2013 in Stockholm, Sweden. The wedding ceremony was hosted by King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silva at the Royal Palace. The princess was wearing a white lace gown designed by Valentino Garavani. The event was graced by 470 European royals and the top socialites in New York.
The second royal wedding we are featuring happened on April 29, 2011. The world was amazed to have witnessed the wedding of Prince William, Duke of Cambridge and Catherine Middleton at Westminster Abbey, London. The Duchess Catherine wore a satin gown overlaid with lace bodice made by Sarah Burton at Alexander McQueen. The costs of the eventful wedding were paid by the royal family as well as of the Middletons. About two thousand people were invited in the name of the British Queen and it was one of the most exciting royal wedding that happened in many years.
